Hey everyone!
I recently graduated with my BSN and passed the NCLEX in February. I have had a couple interviews with a hospital here where I live, but have not taken employment yet. I would really like to work for the Methodist hospital system. I spoke to one of their recruiters and she told me that new grads cannot apply again until May because they do a residency program.
Do you think that is too long to wait? Will it look bad for me to be applying in May and possibly not working until July because the process can take some time?
I’m just nervous about possibly waiting too long and employers not wanting to hire me because of that.
Thanks in advance for any responses!

I am a nurse manger and personally don't think a few months gap looks bad.
