Need a clearer pathway

Hi All,

I'm new in this site,so I hope people would be kind to answer at least some of my questions.

I'm now here in NSW, Australia, and I am on a Partner Temporary Visa.I am an RN in the Philippines,but I quite don't know what to do and how to get started as an RN here.

I worked for a month in a nursing home,but I found the experience horrible because of some condescending staff,so I quit. I would like to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse.Here are some of my concerns. 1.Do I still have to do IELTS? 2.If I have done that what would be the next step?

I hope I will be able to get some help through this site.

    Starting point would be AHPRA and meeting their requirements, they probably will require IELTS. Also suggest reading the rather long thread on Australia as bridging program will probably be required
