I did three Kaplan exams and got 60's a week ago, so I felt I was ready and sceduled my exam tomrrow. However, I took Mosby's exam yestaday and only got 50's, I got paniced and immediately changed my exam date to next month.
Today I used NSNA's book and did two 100 questions' exam and got 63 and 66, I felt the questions are like NCLEX and Kaplan but still not sure. Does anyone use this book? If so could you please give me some advice whether I should take it tomorrow or waited for a week, two weeks, or three week? I'm so scared since this is my second NCLEX and I have to make sure I will pass this time. Anybody's advice is very appretiated. Thank you so much.

Only you alone would know if you are really ready, mosby cat IMHO think it is a little outdated, but there are people on this board who got 50's and 60's with kaplan and still pass, hope that helps, wishing you the very best.

Getting a 90% or 55% on one Kaplan Question Trainer Test does not determine your readiness to take the NCLEX. In all likelihood people who passed are those who did questions upon questions over some weeks. Personally I did 4,000 questions (w/ rationales). So if you did the work don’t let the anxiety scare you away. You passed nursing school and you have the wealth of knowledge and advice on this forum.

Only you will know when you feel ready to take the nclex. I had the Mosby nclex-pn book and did very poorly on those questions. However I also had Saunders and did alot better when I took those tests. I did 100 questions every night and usually scored around 60-70% and I passed the nclex-pn with 85 questions. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
