Just wondering if anyone has advice on which Nursing School Entrance Exam Prep books are best. Right now, I'm trying to decide between two books: Kaplan's Nursing School Entrance Exams - Second Edition and National League for Nursing's Review Guide for LPN/LVN Pre-Entrance Exam - Second Edition. I am needing to prep for the HESI A2 Exam. I would appreciate any reviews/opinions of these books or suggestions of better books. Thank you!!!!

Go to http://www.hesitest.com and there is actually a specific book to study for Hesi 2. I am taking it in Aug and just got it in a month ago. It is written by the exact same people who write the test so you know its correct information. It costs aound $25 and takes about 7 days to get to you. I will tell you that the company has a strange billing procedure when you put it on your debit or credit card. They start by charging $1 right away. The next day the $1 charge is gone, but they have charged you the amount without tax. Then a few days later they charge you the amount with tax, and eventually put the amount without tax back a week or so later. It was very strange.
Thank you so much for the information. I will definitely check it out. Thank you again...and GOOD LUCK on your exam!!!!
your welcome...Good luck to you too

I looked on hesitest.com nd can't find the link for the study guide. Any ideas?
I agree, it was not easy to find.... It will save you some time if you just order it from Barnes & Noble (or pick one up at a store). The cost is the same (cheaper if you have a B&N Membership). Here is the web page http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780965667838&itm=1
It is a spiral format, not exactly what I expected... It does seem to be fairly informative. Good luck!!!

Do all nursing schools have an entrance exam? The counselor said nothing of this during my martriculation. Of course I have ages worth of pre-req's to do first. Also it is not listed on the nursing website for my school.
All the CC programs here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area do.
