Need advice on Test Prep. Books...Please!!!
I agree, it was not easy to find.... It will save you some time if you just order it from Barnes & Noble (or pick one up at a store). The cost is the same (cheaper if you have a B&N Membership). Here is the web page http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780965667838&itm=1 It is a spiral format, not exactly what I expected... It does seem to be fairly informative. Good luck!!!

Need advice on Test Prep. Books...Please!!!
Just wondering if anyone has advice on which Nursing School Entrance Exam Prep books are best. Right now, I'm trying to decide between two books: Kaplan's Nursing School Entrance Exams - Second Edition and National League for Nursing's Review Guide for LPN/LVN Pre-Entrance Exam - Second Edition. I am needing to prep for the HESI A2 Exam. I would appreciate any reviews/opinions of these books or suggestions of better books. Thank you!!!!

Older student starting Fall 07 w/ "Gen Ed" classes
Hello Melissa, My name is Melissa, also. That is another thing we have in common.... I am 36 and starting classes in a couple of weeks. I had previously taken business courses approx. 13 years ago. I, too, am having to play a little bit of catch-up. Out of the courses I had taken, only three will transfer; Algebra, English Comp. I, English Comp. II. My fall classes are: Human Physiology General Chemisty I American History American Government Intro. to Nursing It is so refreshing to see I'm not the only one making a late start... Maybe we'll benefit from being a little more mature...:roll We should start a support group....huh? Anyway, I just wanted to say, "Hey" and let you know I'm here w/you.

Need help preparing for the HESI A2 Exam...
Hello, I have purchased the study guide by Morrison Media - HESI A2 Secrets. I have read through the Study Guide and looked over the practice tests. I am concerned about the content and exactly how much of it will be on the test. I am planning to take the Hesi A2 Exam prior to October 1 (the deadline to apply for the Spring 2008 - Nursing Program). I am truly at a disadvantage, though. I have not attended school for approximately 14 years; my major at that time was accounting/business. Needless to say, I have not taken several of the courses needed to prepare for this adventure. I am currently scheduled to begin Chemistry I and Human Physiology in the middle of August. Therefore, I will have only been exposed to these two courses for approx. one month prior to taking the HESI exam. I have, of course, taken College Algebra and English I & II - the only two courses that appear to be beneficial. I could really use any information regarding the test, recommended study guides/books, study helps, etc. Thank you, in advance, for any HELP you can provide. To those who are preparing for this test.... GOOD LUCK!!!!! (Please wish me the same....)
