What will happen if I can't afford the tpapn evaluation and they close it and send it to the board. I'm in Texas. I'll be able to afford it in a few weeks and will have clean results...i was told the board would "probably" send it back to tpapn for evaluation again at which time I would be able to afford. Have only been working a few weeks and can start saving for the evaluation. Will there be a mark on my record if it goes to the Bon? The complaints came from an ex. Not a patient or a job. No criminal history. No diversion. No positive drug tests. Just a complaint from him. Will the board suspend me till I can afford it? Please help. Need advice from someone who has false complaints against them before...i just can't afford it right now

From what I have been told, yes it will show up on your license if it goes to the Board. Even if all they do is send you back to TPAPN. I went straight to TPAPN, so I don't have personal experience with what it will say exactly. If you're going to do it eventually it seems like you should do it in a way that keeps your license clean so that after it's all over it will never again haunt you! I'd hate to have to explain a disciplinary mark on my license for the rest of my career. FWIW, my evaluation was $300. And they took it on a credit card.

If you get a board order to enroll in TpAPN it will be confidential as long as you fulfill all requirements. The board can take over a year to contact you.

It seems to me that even with these jokers it should take more than the word of a disgruntled spouse to send you into this program. What if you test negative for everything despite his complaint. You would think that would be physical proof that he is lying
Pittsburgh, the problem here is that the hubby is not lying. She will test positive on a hair test unless she can get the test delayed another couple of weeks. At least that's the theory she is going with, based on how far back a hair test can detect, and how long ago she used.
