The NCLEX exam is set up with a minimum of 75 or 85 questions-if you are consistant in your answers, whether you were consistantly getting questions right or wrong, that is how the computer judges the amount of questions you will get. It sounds like you weren't consistant in your answers at the minimum number so it had to continue to give you more questions until it reached a decision.

A few of my friends went all the way up to 265 and they still passed the exam- So the number of questions has nothing to do with whether you passed or failed.

Hope this helps a little!

It's really hard to tell with the number of questions. My friend and I both got the least amount of questions, we both went to the same school, and also studied together. She failed the exam and I passed, it really depends on your consistency. I wish you the best of luck, it's so hard taking an exam that determines your career.
