I'm currently a sophomore studying biology. I know that I want to do nursing. Would I be able to transfer into a BSN program after junior year after I complete the pre-req's for nursing? If I do will it still take me four years to complete the program?
I was originally planning on completing my bachelor's in biology and then applying to an accelerated nursing program, but I don't really want to wait 2 more years to do this because the school that I currently attend (in NYC) is a priv school and really expensive.
Does anyone have any advice?

Yes you can apply to a BSN nursing program that is not accelerated after completing the prereqs. Contact your advisor about becoming prenursing. The nursing program part for the bsn is about 2 years. You probably will graduate a year or year and half late later than you originally planned if you complete your prereqs after your junior year. Your best source would be your advisor.
