Hi All!
I am in need of interview advice or suggestions! I have been a med/surg/tele nurse for 20 months. I applied and have an interview for a Progressive Care Unit position and I have no clue what to expect or how to approach the interview. This is only my second interview in the nursing field and need all the advice or suggestions I can get!
Thank you in advance!

I urge you to do a bit of investigation first. What type of patients are cared for in that PCU? What are the defining and noteworthy characteristics of that hospital? How long has it been there? Organizational mission/goals (usually can be found on their web site). Do they have any specialty certifications - stroke center? chest pain center?
Then --- find an opportunity during your interview to demonstrate your knowledge of the hospital. When you tell that hiring manager that you "really want to work there", it will come across as much more sincere because you are making an informed decision rather than seeming desperate for 'any job'.
