Hello all! I am currently studying for my FNP boards. I am taking AANP. I have horrible test-taking anxiety (mainly due to the fact that I took NCLEX twice :( ) I have been to a Fitzgerald review and am doing her question/content book. I need some practice tests and computer questions that are close to what is on the AANP exam. I have been making between 60-70% on practice tests with Fitzgerald. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!

You should be fine

BostonFNP, have you taken AANP FNP exam? Did you do computerized questions from APEA or familynpprep.com? I need to do practice test after practice test to help with my test taking anxiety. Any advice? Thanks!

I took the AANP three weeks after I passed the ANCC exam; it was easier and straightforward in my opinion. I did take the FHEA review course and found it to be excellent prep. Remember this is a basic entry to practice level exam; it is stuff you (should) know without much deliberation.

Thanks! I feel like I have decent base knowledge (Fitzgerald is very in-depth and I can't possibly know everything she teaches!) I think my issue is the test taking anxiety. I am half-way through her question/content book with the big red dot on the front and I have done the tests in each chapter first, and have scored 60-70% before re-reviewing the information. (I take the total # questions in the section and divide by the number I got correct to get %) I still feel like I need computerized question bank to practice.
