Hi everyone I am a nursing student going into 4th semester This week I tested positive for THC on an oral swab.  It has to be a false positive. I have never tested positive for a drug in my life but I'm afraid that they aren't going to let me retest.  There have been quite a few false positives this semester.  I was taking a ton of ibuprofen and naproxen because I also suffered a miscarriage last week and am wondering if that has something to do with it.  Does anyone have any insight?

I hope that everyone's day is beautiful and thank you for your time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have heard that NSAIDs can cause false positives on urine drug screens, but I am not sure about oral swabs. But I would advise you to read your student handbook as it might have information on what to expect for next steps. Best of luck to you!

If you really didn't use any substances and are certain you have used nothing for at least 3 months, would probably be worth the money to eat the cost of a hair follicle test.

Your program requires you to get a drug test??
