If you don't take them prior to the other two courses you may find yourself having to do some extra studying to learn concepts that are covered in the pre req courses. That is totally up to you. I just think it makes it easier to have these courses down before you tackle the others. It isn't necessarily a must. Try looking over the texts or other study material and see if you think it would be better to take these classes first. If you have a chance, go and visit the classes and see how they seem. Good luck.

I want to take biology and chemistry at the local community college but won't be able to until the fall because of scheduling issues. In the meantime, I am interested in using Excelsior to test out of Micro and A&P. My local cc has bio and chem as prerequisites for those two classes. Soooo.... my question is, how difficult are those two without taking bio and chem first? Thanks for any help!
