DS-230......................you still need to get thru that.............there is no way to even give you an idea of when you will get the GC, there is a retrogression looming, and things will be on hold.
The I-485 is just the AOS petition, nothing more. Best suggestion is to speak with your immigration attorney, since they are familiar with your case very well, or should be. This is what they are being paid for.
I don't think I need that since I am adjusting status in the US. DS230 is for consular processing.
My friend already got her GC without applying for the DS230.
Sorry, my brain is asleep. Most have been taking about five months on average, when the AOS route is used. Some sloghtly quicker, but with the push to get all of the petitions in under the wire, you may see a slow down in processing for a few weeks, then things should pick up again.
With a retrogression looming, not sure when the next set of visa numbers will be issued, and also depends on where you were born.
