Nebraska LPN-RN students

is there anyone from nebraska bridging from lpn-rn thru excelsior college? i plan to start in october (after my daughter's wedding in september). just wanted to know if there are any problems with ne accepting ec. i emailed the state board of nursing who assured me they recognized graduates of excelsior, but wonder if anyone has had personal experience pro or con that they would care to share. thanks!

p.s. i appreciate all of the posts regarding ec and continuing to get one's rn. you have all been very supportive.

ok - today's the day. i'm starting with microbiology. did you take this test thru ec? did it pretty well follow the tcn study guide you used from your supervisor? any tips?

thanks!:nurse:

I took micro last, after I did all of my NC exams. AAll I used was the TCN study guides and I only spent the 5 hrs before the test in the parking lot in GI studying for it. I got an B. I didn't have a clue on alot of the questions, I'm one hell of lucky boy.:roll

Good luck to you, I found that if I paid for and schedualed my test it motivated me to get it done in that amount of time. If I waited till I thought I was ready I would still be taking NC tests. I am a tight wad and it would KILL me to reschedual and take a loss on some of the money.
