i've got my report from my BON the other day, then i decided to look at it today, it says "near passing standard" almost all of it except for reduction of risk potential category which is below the passing..
does it mean that i can get a better chance of passing the next time I take the nclex?:icon_roll

you almost nailed it. Make it as an inspiration. next time the almost will be a certain above passing standard. concentrate on your weak area. below passing means, it is your weakest link so far. near passing means, you just need a little bit more attention on it to make it pass. do not be dishearten. Review again on your own phase. Relax and try to pick up the pieces. As i always say, what matters most is we have done the best we can do and if our best shot isnt enough to pass, next time wecan do better than best and nail nclex. I became scared when i failed twice. waited almost a year before I finally have the guts to take it. thanks to my husband. I finally defeated the nclex monster. nexttimeyou can. even the bravest man needs to prepare himself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually to win his battles. Wounds are part of the training. it will hurt but it will make us stronger. and we will keep on trying until we get what we are aiming. Best of luck. I believe in you.believe in yerself. soon u will win your nclex battle like how I win mine.

Leilah75 though you wrote this in response to someone else it has been very encouraging to read. As I now have a better understanding of my results since I was feeling a liitle down having a mixture of above, near, and below passing and I had the nerve to think the exam was relatively easy as I posted elsewhere on the forum.
So very proud of all of you that have mastered the NCLEX -RN :cheers::balloons:and look forward to my day coming soon!

Rizapride,
We may not have scored 100% this time but we will nail this RN-NCLEX soon. My results were also mixed.

wow thanks for the inspirational message. I got near passing on everything as well and it really had me down for 2 months. Since the new year, I've been really focused on "thinking like a nurse". I'm still terrified of the NCLEX-RN monster though but I still tell myself that I can do it because I know I can, I just needed a little more preparation so I can go back, stare the monster in the face and yell "bring it on!"
