I had to test twice before I passed and on the second time to me it didn't seem as hard, but def not easy but that might be do to me studying more. I can ensure that they won't ask you the same questions and to me not really on the same subjects. Like my first test I had ALOT of infection control especially involving c-diff, the second time I did not. The second time I had a lot of questions evaluating the effectiveness of teaching, whereas the first time I didn't. Basically NCLEX is going to use random subjects to determine if you have minimal competency each time, I don't believe they make it harder if you test more than once .
Hello all, I passed my second nclex attempt today. First try I got 258 questions and today I got 120... I definately got different questions of course but it was not more difficult that the first time. I'd say they were both pretty difficult I got a lot of SATA on both tests, and a lot of priority and meds. Honestly if you do not have kaplan, get it. The trainer tests were so similar to questions I saw on the exam. Go over every rationale even if you got the question right. You learn content that way too. But I'm blabbering now, to answer the question No the test is definately not harder.
