My question is if the CDC is monitoring the people who have been potentially exposed, why on earth would this second nurse be allowed to travel by commercial plane or any other form of transportation half way across the country, potentially exposing hundreds of people.
secondly, why would anyone who knows they have had direct contact with a known Ebola patient, in a way such as a nurse would, fly across the country. Come on people, this is SERIOUS!! Use your brains!!!!! I am in shock and disbelief.

According to CNN she was told to not travel commercially. And she flew back with a temp of 99.5. I am hoping these allegations are not true otherwise a full planeful of people are now at risk.
I have been listening and there is mixed reaction where or not she was told. Why would she accept this assignment if she knew she was travelling ?
They are trying to keep everyone calm by saying that Ebola is not contagious unless the infected individual is showing symptoms. Last I checked 99.5 is a low grade fever. I personally think this woman, should she survive, should be prosecuted. If someone has been drinking and kill someone while driving, they are responsible. This woman was a loaded gun and should be held responsible for her actions.

Gah. I take everything the media says with huge handfuls of salt, but if those allegations are true, well...yikes!

I wonder if we're seeing human beings at their worst...and their best.
I don't know who or what was so important it needed to risk >100 lives, but nurse # 2 risked them for her own personal reasons.
She had a temp prior to boarding the plane from Cleveland to Dallas.
She knew what that meant and she boarded anyway.
I can't think of one single reason I'd do that.

Are you serious? I was at the gym watching the news and didnt know that shed boarded with a temp. theyve downplayed this ebola thing, for sure. But i wonder what possessed her to get on the plane knowing that her vitals were off.
Strange.
Apparently she is from Ohio, and is getting married soon, and returned home to plan her wedding.
