2nd attempt how long do you have to wait??????

I graduated from LVN program in Texas and I am goin to take the nclex on the Sept 4 I was wondering if you fail how long do you have to wait to take it again? I hate to think negative but if I dont pass I want to know how long I will have to wait to take it again.

Depends on a few factors, the BON usually have a limit on days before you can re apply but I would also take into account how you are feeling, no good rushing to retake if you are not quiet ready to resit. Much better to take a short break before starting studying again and apply once you feel ready

But think positive and good luck

Hi Ct,

I took my nclex yesterday as well. How did you fare ? How many questions? I know waiting is torture,,,but we'll get through this!

I had 96 questions and it was the 2nd try for me. The first time I had 265 and failed. I feel good about it, lets see if I'm right....

Hope youre distracting yourself!!!
