NCSBN Review

Published

I am attempting my NCLEX exam for the 2nd time in 45 days. I was thinking about purchasing NCSBN Review considering they are supposed to help structure the NCLEX. Anyone have experience with this review? Recommend any others?

Honestly, Uworld is the best. I have both. The NCSBN is good for content review, but I am not a fan of their Qbank. Uworld is styled just like NCLEX.

Specializes in Burn/Trauma ICU.

I suggest you to purchase Uworld. It's an excellent study tool that provides detailed rationales and high leveled questions. A lot of my friends who just graduated nursing school only used Uworld as their study preparation and passed on their first try. I mean it is worth a shot and if you feel that you need to cover more content, you can try HURST which is what I used. :) Good luck on your next nclex exam and don't beat yourself up, you got this!

I used NCSBN, along with all my notes from (foreign) school and I can say that it has helped me a lot.

It all depends on how and what you review and how well you store and retain all the information in your brain.

Does not matter which review program you register with, whether its UWORLD, or Kaplan, or NCSBN.

I would also have to say that LUCK plays a part, as I personally know someone who works fullt-ime,

have four kids, and did not review at all and passed the NCLEX-RN on first try.

Now if you can afford to enroll in two programs, then go ahead. I believe UWORLD is $59/month and NCSBN goes

about $50 for a 3-week review. $109 is not bad for both.
