I'm taking the NCSBN 8 week review. It's a combination of content, interactive quizzes, postests, and you will find a huge section of practice questions. The questions are tough! There is a 150 question pre-test that will help as far as identifying your weaknesses. As far as study plan? They're all the same... just broken down into how much time you have to put into it. Example: For the 8 week plan they suggest you study like 10 hours per week. A few of the lessons are quite long and can take 4-5 hours or multiple days. Not to wory... you can just shut it down and pick up where you left off later. I've known others who have taken this review and passed NCLEX first time around. My preceptor was one of them. Also what I like about this review is... These are the people who write the exam... And they have updated it to the new NCLEX that was released last March so the content is updated. Good luck!!
I too did the review for the pn though but i did the 3 week course. I spent 4-5 hrs a day everyday literally on it & finished it to. Yes its time consuming but to me it was worth it. I did that on top of exam cram & saunder's & passed mine 2 weeks ago. Just make sure if u do decide to do it, make sure u always save so u wont have to start all back over in the section u was previously on.
