Hello all! I took the NCLEX today and got 75 questions. I felt like I was failing after about the first 15 questions. Many obscure questions and what felt like tons of SATA. Hoping I passed! I wanted to post how I prepared, including my Kaplan and HURST scores. I enjoyed both reviews. Kaplan is great for questions while HURST is great for learning the basic disease processes. I studied intensely for about 2-3 weeks and did a lot of practice exams. Good luck to those studying! I will post my exam pass/fail status in two days when I hear back.
My Kaplan Question Trainer scores were:
1- 68%
2- 57.3%
3- 55%
4- 67.3%
5- 66%
6- 66%
7- 67.2%
My HURST Q-Review scores were:
1- 86/125
2- 90/125
3- 89/125
4- 87/125
5- 87/125
6- 96/125

I think you did well. Those Hurst review scores are fabulous!!
Thank you! I am hoping it is enough. I felt like I did terribly after the exam, but I have heard that is how everyone feels.

Congratulations! I took mine on Friday as well, around 2 pm.. My quick results haven't been posted yet :/ I had 75 questions also. It gives me hope that yours were posted today, hopefully mine will post later this afternoon.
I took mine Friday at 8am and my results were posted around 9am! I assume yours will be up around 3pm!
I owe all my studying to the HURST review content and then the Kaplan questions. The Kaplan tests are similar to the NCLEX because some of the questions were quite obscure to me.
My results posted almost exactly at 3pm. Pass!!

Congrats!!! Also, could you please give me some advice on what source to use to study Pharm. I am reviewing content with Hurst videos and notes, and also using Kaplan for questions. What did you use to study Pharm? Thanks
Congrats!!! Alsocould you please give me some advice on what source to use to study Pharm. I am reviewing content with Hurst videos and notes, and also using Kaplan for questions. What did you use to study Pharm? Thanks[/quote']I made a few notecards for the main pharm classes and drugs- MAOIs, SSRIs, beta blockers, dig, etc. I knew the big stuff such as no tyramine with MAOIs, watch for extrapyramidal symptoms with antipsychotics, and drink iron through a straw. I used the 5th day material from HURST and printed it all out but it ended up being a lot of paper. I didn't study pharm too much and ended up focusing on questions dealing with pharm instead.
