Hi anyone who is waiting for the results in cali? i made this bec theres no quick results in cali.the waiting kills me

Hi to Girl09spmpg, im taking my NCLEX-RN this december 31st, plz give me some bits of advice, im a filipina too, i had my BSN in the phils. its pretty hard for me to study now, and CA nursing practice is quite different from us, God Bless for your result

yes it's true that it's different here in Ca... take lots of practice questions...its ok to get 50% as long as you review the wrong ones. Use trategies. For prioritization, First identify if you need to assess or implement(assessment 1st), next is Maslow heirarchy of needs(Physiological as the highest), and then determine ABC. But be careful because it depends upon the situation. Review the meds and infection control also... And the most of all pray, pray rosary, It gave me strenght and confidence, med-surg. On the day of your exam calm yourself and just relax, feel like your in your home doing common exam but do your best of course, think as if you're in the true situation. Where you from in the Phil? Where did you study? Are you here in California right now? I'm still waiting for my results though but try also my techniques...

I didnt get a good pop up.It was my third time. My first takes were all 75 items.Got it in 2 hours also. This time im hoping for a different result.Hopefully. Just wait for your result.Hoping all are the best for the both of us.

To Aceedee.wow almost all the people who comment here in y thread are filipinas if not filipinoes.Wonder why.lol. Just review kaplan.Kaplan is the best.Lots of prioritixation.LA charity is the best also. Almost all nurses who passed used it here in California and most of the states. Lastly, lots of meds.Just know their side effects and contraindication.And when to take it.

it's my first time to take NCLEX RN and it's hard that's why I'm so nervous but the PVT s giving me hope because I got the good pop up that says contact the board, i din't see my name on BON oline though... I didn't complicate every questions, but I did my best in every question, tried to understnd it carefully. Thank you, yeah God bless us all.

That BoN site says that they are updated but some of m friends told me that they didnt see their names even if they alsready passed.Hmm...Lets just wait for the official mail. :) AS in my case, I didnt get a good pop. So Im kinda worried. But i believe that i answered the questions perfectly though. Bec some of the questions I got were the things I have encountered when I was reviewing online through the NCSBN. It was all worth it.I learned alot from it.How about you what references did you used?

Yes I really hope so. Kaplan book is also the big thing that helped me. Bigtime. Esp. the cd of it. How I wish I took local boards in the Phils before so I can apply for the interim permit. Do you have idea about the limited permit for LVnS? Thats my fall back just in case I didnt make it this time.I have to work chop chop!
