I graduated in August, had to wait for my ATT for weeks, was finally able to schedule for OCT 3. I studied KAPLAN the entire time as I wasn't working for a hospital yet. Between redoing Trainers, which before I graduated was scoring 50's-60's on, and starting Qbanks, I wasn't doing bad. My Trainer scores improved to 60's, no more 50's. Qbanks were always between 30'-80's, because I would test my weak spots, then to give myself some courage again test everything together, which made my scores better. So going into the test I felt prepared, however I was still nervous. I was shaking, had to take my sweater off from sweating and getting hot, I was a mess. The test was hard, harder than I expected. I probably only got about 5 SATA questions, 1 EKG, 1 order and the rest were all MC. My computer shut off at 75, and since my last questions were easy (IMO), I was freaking out. I knew how the exam worked, and the beginning questions were hard and by the end it was easy. I cried, all day, my husband and family were desperate to get me to stop crying. The truth was I studied so hard, and really counted on passing the first time that I made myself sick from worrying about what I had been told about the exam. Today I found out that I passed, 48 hours after. THAT ALSO MADE ME NERVOUS. I wanted to say to all those waiting - don't worry about what questions you got, don't worry about how long it takes you (I was out in less than an hour and a half), don't worry about what number it stops at because that gives you no indication of how you did. Just read the questions, really think about each answer, and before you submit and you have those 2 narrowed down, make sure you know why you are picking what you pick. So many questions I had were between two options. I always went with my gut, although some questions I had some last minute changes that I googled after leaving to be correct. But, keep your heads up, if you don't pass the first time read over the boards of people who passed at 2 and 3, and even 4 and 5, they really allows you to know that it happens to the smartest people. If you pass the first time, congratulations!

Thanks, I enjoyed reading your post. Will be taking the nclex in December and this has made me less nervous.
