I had lots of questions on diseases, particularly how they are transmitted and the precautions that nurses should take. I didn't think much of Kaplan either after I took my NCLEX but it got me through it. There seemed to be a lot on safety, but also I had many on how smoking and alcohol predispose to things like cancer. Look over common ailments to the elderly such as different arthritis conditions.

I would recommend answering as many practice questions as possible- and to prioritize based on assessment first then implemention, evaluation, ect. Also keep in mind your ABC's. Remember the goal is safety. Don't overthink or overanalyze. Hope this helps and good luck. Hang in there- I know it's hard but keep in mind everyone has gone through this stress in order to get their licsense. Don't be too hard on yourself either! ;)

:welcome:
