It's been months since i last visit allnurses.com... Before, I was asking about how to apply for CA BRN and now, everything is okay.. I got my eligibility, have registered to pearsonvue, got my ATT, BUT, i haven't scheduled yet.. I already paid $200 for the registration/exam but i haven't paid the $150 since I will be testing here in the Phils.. I have these thoughts on applying for Vermont too.. I have an adviser who told me, maybe I can still use my ATT in pearson (but CA eligible) in taking the nclex exam BUT will send it to Vermont (IF i pass nclex).. Do you guys know if it is possible to still use my Pearsonvue registration (CA eligible) in testing for the State of Vermont? My adviser said I can still use the ATT which CA made me eligible to test, to Vermont application..
I really need your answers.. I don't know what to do.. T_T

Advisor should have been able to advise you on what to do, or they are not really good at what they are doing. Just so you are aware of this.
You may test with the eligibility that you have for CA, and if you pass the exam then you can start the procedure of licensure in VT. You will not be able to endorse as a license will not be issued from CA. You will also need to meet the requirements for licensure in VT, they are different from those of CA. And if you meet them, then you just use the License by Examination application and then have CA forward your results to them.
But would not start to do this now as we are under a retrogression and your letter of passing is good for three years. Not sure why your advisor is advising you to do this now, not a good idea either.
Much has already been written on this topic, just take the time to do a search. The US only requires that you have passed the exam, they do not require an actual license to start the petitioning process. And with the fact that there is a retrogression in place, I would not do anything further than taking and passing the one exam right now.
Good day! Can u pls state the forum where i can find the thread concerning my problem?
I would just like to know if CA can forward to VT my nclex when i pass it? How does the procedure work? Or do i have to wait for 3yrs before applying for Licensure by Exam in VT?? I would like to apply to VT simply because I'm not sure if i'm able to get my license in CA because of the SSN.. What im planning to do is, apply in VT then if i pass and get my license, i will apply for endorsement in CA.. Is that a good idea? Or will it work?
Sorry ma'am, I only have limited time to use the internet that's why I all I can do is ask ask ask.. :) I hope you understand..
Use the search engine that we have here to find the threads.
There are many that you will come across.
But I would not do a thing right now about it, as the licenses from VT also have expiration dates. No sense in just throwing away money, and first focus on passing the exam, before you are making plans as to what to do next.
