Nclex and shutting at 79 questions.

OK.. I took my Nclex-RN this morning and it shut off at 79 Questions. I have done the pearson vue trick and I am getting the message to contact my state board of nursing. Is the trick still valid? Have you ever heard of someone failing with 79 Questions?

Congrats! You passed!

Thank you! That is all the researching I can find points me to that direction. I am just super nervous because I have never been a good test taker..

What is this Pearson vue trick that everyone is talking about?! :( should i dare find out?!? taking mine in 2wks!!!

go to pearson right away and try to schedule another test ..if it lets you you failed if not you passed.

Not necessarily. If it takes you to the credit card page, you MAY have fail. Some are going to the cc page and still passing. If it doesn't let you go to the cc then you DEFIANTLY passed! Good Luck!

Just beware. I know of 6 people that got the "good" pop up and it turns out they actually failed. It is NOT 100% accurate. Go by your actual results before sharing news.

The good pop-up gas worked for me and 7 of my other classmates who've tested these past 2 weeks. We all passed and are RNs now!!!!

Now this really worries me. Are you sure they were doing it right?

I have never heard of anyone getting a false positive. I've heard of one person getting the cc page but they actually passed. It worked for both my LPN and RN as well as with 4 of my friends from school, that have taken it so far. But you won't stop worrying until you get your quick results and see your name on the registry for the first time. :) best of luck!
