NCLEX RN for TEXAS

Hello there.

I just wanted to know if I am able to take the state of Texas Nclex-RN via Pearson Vue in the state of California ?

My friend is doing his in Nevada.

I just wanted to know please, asap!

I am a Philippine graduate, that's why I'm unable to take it in Cali.

NCLEX is the same in every state, so if California will not allow you to test and Texas will, you can't take a "Texas version" in California. I do not believe you can endorse to California if you become licensed in Texas, either- even after passing NCLEX (unless you meet the requirements that were in place for you to test in California to start out with).

Wait so can I take it in california then, the texas nclex ?

There is no "Texas NCLEX". NCLEX is one test that is the same anywhere you take it.

Are you trying to work in California? Or Texas?

The exam can be sat in any pearsonvue center that does the exam regardless on state applied all you need is ID and ATT

Oh ok I see...im trying to take it in texas.

.i just didnt want to go all the way over there just to take the exam right now..
