hello guys,
i take my NCLEX-rn last 2 days (may 15 to be exact) and i was so devastated when the computer shut down at 76th question.. i got tons of SATA and picture chart situation question but the most so disappointed for my part it has lot of teaching(infulencing nursing care eq. *acupuncture , biofeedback ,etc) most of my 1-30th question around on this topic (which i didnt give big concentration on my part) and now i received my Quick result and yes..... i failed i'm kinda down today but i always said to my self every-time "once got down the 1st thing to do is to stand up and make a 1st step"
...i just want to ask when will i'll able to take the exam again should i wait for another 3mos or take an aggresive tactics and get it on a month i know i need to wait for 45 days right?
hi guys im new in this but i just did my RN NCLEX on Monday May 20th. i did 263 questions. i had only 2 math questions and both were how to calculate intakes i thought that was crazy thinkin a CNA can do that. i had lot of SATA questions, infection control, delegation, prioritizing whom to assess first, 3 OB questions and may be 10 Peds/mental health. praying... i hope i passed coz it was really hard. i also did PVT and when straight to CC Payment def failed still have hope fingers-cross. i was also told starting april 1st 2013 new standards are applied. goodluck

The thing about it is that most US nursing schools use nclex style questions on all ther exams. That's two years of doing it, so most American nurses are well accustomed to it compared to foreign nurses. The language barrier can come into it and sometimes cultural background, my professors told me, especially in regards to delegation and prioritization. Just looked up the pass rate and it's 46% for first try international and 21% for second try international.
