Hello Nurses!!!
I was browsing the web on what are the best NCLEX-RN books to have and saw this site. I haven't heard of this one since I am not a big fan of the internet. Guess I'm missing out. I joined it because I find it pretty cool. Anyways, Can anyone suggest me what are the MUST HAVE NCLEX-RN books? I just gave birth to my adorable son and I'm planning to take the exam 3-6 months from today. I decided not to enroll to kaplan review centers since it's pretty expensive. so anyone can please tell me what are the MUST HAVE books for 2011-2012 NCLEX RN exam? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you so much guys!

second Saunders 5th Edition. Also Reviews & Rationales for NCLEX-RN by Pearson Prentice Hall is a good one, but I'm not sure if they came out with a new edition.

Check out the nursing section of your local bookstores to find the review book that looks best to you.

If you don't know content very well, try Saunders. Its pretty comprehensive and will break things down pretty well along with the drugs for that particular system. If you can, check with your local library to get the Kaplan Study Guide 2010-2011 edition. Its pretty much the same thing you would get from the course ( I did both) and its free. Take both the CD test and the book test. It'll prepare you well. I also second Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment by Lacharity. I would say this book is a must. Exam Cram is good too.
