OhMyJesusChrist. Anxiety level is on the highest level. I'll be taking my exam this monday. November 22 in Roseville,CA.
As I was reading on the threads here about the exam, I felt somewhat relieved.. But, I still need some sort of advice from anyone who just took the exam this month.. How was it? was it really that hard?
Almighty God the Father, please help us pass this exam, and help our dreams come true.
is this the first time you took it, jadecn?
i`m sorry to hear that but i was unsuccessfuL during my first attempt too..''
take a break, say a week..then puLL yourseLf together, study sudy study..
if you feeL Like you need to review your nsg contents, work on the saunders..
then do practice questions in davis and la charity..
ive noticed in my nclex today that the questions are straightforward, they seem easy BUT the choices are very, very, very tricky..so you should really pay attention to every, single word..
and pray, God wants you to be better and the next time, you'll get it..
then success will be sweeter..i will pray for you, keep your chin up.. :)
Yup, it's my first time. I graduated 3 years ago, coz after that I got married and became a mom of a healthy baby boy who is one year old now. I know the feeling of failing the first time coz way back in the Philippines it also took me twice to pass my local licensure exam. I admire you guys for uplifting my spirits and I know u guys can be an effective nurses coz right now u are dealing with a depressed client and u just know how to make us feel better with your therapeutic thoughts. I know it's not the end of the world.
My computer shut off at 76. And tried checking the PVT, but It showed me the credit card page with my name and address. So it's positive that I failed it.
Sometimes we don't understand why God allows us to go through the things we go through, but we have to trust and believe in his plan for us! Remember: God always has His hands on you; he is walking with you every step of your journey! One of these days, you will look back on your struggle and that will make you appreciate your success even more, this will be your testimony! Keep the faith, you are meant to be a nurse, and will be! :) Good Luck in your studies and try your best not to get discouraged! You are in my prayers :)

Thank you so much! :) I really appreciate the thought. Yes it's so true that u appreciate the things more if you worked hard for it. :) I
WOW! CONGRATULATIONS to all of you. You guys deserve it.. I know you worked hard for it.I took the exam this morning, and right after I got home I tried doing the trick but sad to say, its a bad pop up!! At first I was in denial, but after checking it again for the third time, I am still getting the same result.
I know that PVT really works, so Im not in doubt. I FAILED.
geesh, it only took me like 3 hrs to cope up with the grieving process, I am just so lucky to have a very understanding husband, who supports me no matter what and who's there to comfort me..
I dont wanna wait for the result, after the thanksgiving, I'll go back to my daily routine, study.. and study..
I too had taken the NCLEX more than once...I was so depressed and felt like a failure when I got my results.... I finally knew that the book learning wasen't doing it for me as I am a real visual learner so I hunted on the internet for a class online. I found "review for nurses"by Sally Laugerquest ..(not sure about the spelling of the last name ) she writes questions for the NCLEX.... this is a wonderful course and I highly recommend it too all my Canadian RN' friends thinking of writing the NCLEX as it is totally different from the CRNE in Canada...They also give you tricks to answer questions that you don't know. I feel your pain, so please try this course you won't regret it. It does cost some money but it is worth it believe me. In the end I passed with 75 questions !!!!!
HOpe that helps....

It took you to the credit card page? Just because God delayed you does not mean he denied you! He delayed me twice!! Keep in mind the more we study the greater nurses we become. God truly does have a plan for you, but you can't figure it out. You have to walk it out. Be Blessed my sista!
