Hi all,
I am taking NCLEX-RN on my second attempt in 23rd Jan. The first time I failed with 265 questions and used Saunders Comprehensive Review. This time round, I used Hurst Review- online lectures and NCBSN review too. I dont know when will I be ready to face the exam again. I am so scare that history will happen again. I do not know when will I ever be ready too. I need to pass this exam so badly. My scores are all inconsistency in NCBSN review. It range from 50% to 77%, I have no confident in getting it right and every question is like a gamble to me.
I cant afford to enroll to kaplan anymore as it is so expensive and it seems like a good way to go( after I paid for Hurst) Oh my god, I dont know what to do now.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading.

Hi I failed the NCLEX the first time also. Took it Dec. 22nd and had all 265 questions. I mainly did Exam Cram the first time around, didn't do a lot of Saunders(which I think I should have). This time around I am doing NCSBN and I find the questions to be very similar to the NCLEX. My scores have ranged from the 50s-80s on there Qbank questions. I would say just keep doing questions, and read the rationales. We can do this. I completely understand were you are coming from about history repeating itself. I have the same fear, but we can do this, we are not the first ones to fail the test. Best of luck to you.

Were in the same boat I guess I'll be taking mine on 27th jan. this is my 3rd attempt. Many people says they are not ready, but still passed my feeling is ,we will never going to be ready. All we need to do is review hard and do the best we can. And most important of all is believe in your self. And don't forget ask some guidance from GOD above because with him nothing is impossible. We can do this be positive. Goodluck to all of us. XxJoexX
Joel I agree with you 100% we have to have a positive attitude and believe in ourselves and trust in god

I will be taking mine on Jan.24 (my second attempt). I have been reviewing since September of last year. The first time I took it was in August, and I only used Saunders. This time around I used Saunders, Lacharity, Kaplan Strategies book and qbank. Best of luck to us retakers. We have to stay calm and not let the anxiety get ahead of us. Most importantly we have to seek for God's guidance, because if we put our TRUST in him everything is possible. Good luck and God Bless :)
Thank you all for sharing the stories and experienc. It is definitely very valuable. I am taking mine on 24th Jan too. Sorry about the typo on the topic title: Jan 2012 actually. :) I really hope that we are able to make it this time round and make 2012 a great year to start off with! Counting down 8 days to go! Good Luck everybody!

I took the NCLEX Nov.2011. I failed it after having all 265 questions and was devastated. I retake it Feb. 20th 2012. I wish you all the best. We can do this.. we passed nursing school. I will check after you all take it to see you passed.
