I'd recommend Kaplan (Q. Ave branch) but their tuition is expensive (23K I think?) unless you happen to avail of their promos. Their review program lasts for four months but it's mostly self-review which might not be everyone's cup of tea. You'll be given access to their lab where you can peruse videos and will be given your own review books, which I find to be very excellent references. They also have a 3-hour live class that lasts for two months but it's mostly test-taking strategies/rationales and not in-depth lectures.
Since I work full-time I found this review center best suited for my schedule. I passed CGFNS last year on my first try and will be taking NCLEX in April. Good luck to you!
Thanks for your reply. Does this mean that if I decided to go for kaplan it's mostly self review and not a classroom like setting? I'm sorry, this is my first time taking NCLEX and I have no idea of this. Aside from kaplan do you have any other suggestion? I'm currently in the states right now and I'll be back in Manila on the last week of March, I'm planning to look for review centers on the first week of April. I would like to compare review centers to find for the right one that will best refresh my memory since I graduated four years ago.
Thank You and good luck in taking NCLEX.
Try looking up Allgen and Rachel Allen as I've heard these NCLEX review centers are good, but I'm not really in the know, unfortunately. You can also try doing a search on this board for NCLEX review center recommendations. This thread (https://allnurses.com/philippine-nursing/list-nclex-review-282749.html) has several. :)
Hi magenta04,
you mentioned your already in the US, why dont you just try online review at kaptest.com
its about $600, not sure if its still the same as now there's live classes which you can attend to at your preferred area. you get to access to kaplans site for 2mos. but you might consider it's mostly self-review w/ thousands of practice test. i think i skipped on that part where youre going home this march. You can enroll to the site and you can bring home your review kits with you and you can access them 24/7 even when your back here in Phil

Hello everyone,
I am planning to review for the nclex-rn exam in Manila. What review center would you recommend? By the way, I lived in Marikina, so I prefer review centers in Marikina, QC or Manila. Also, how much is the review program and how long does it normally takes? Is there a program which has both lecture and testing (questions). Your reply will be very much appreciated. Thank You.
