NCLEX retake

Hi,

I was viewing messages where students have taken the NCLEX -Rn numerous times before passing. I was wondering if you have to pay the $200. 00 fee each time to Pearson who administers the test in Virginia.?

Thanks:balloons:

Yes you do have to pay the $200.00 everytime you retest. Hopefully you won't have to though and will pass it on the first try!

The fee to test gets paid again, as well as the required fees to the BON for the state that you are retesting for.

That is always why it is better to make sure that the person is well prepared when they plan to retest, not that it is only 45 days after the last test date if permitted in that state.

hi sorry to bother you guys but ive taken the nlcex numerous times already and i cant seem to pass it...i dont know where im going wrong with this.if u guys have and suggestions pls let me know id greatly appreciate it...

Yes u will have to pay $200 to pearson vue plus $100 to the BNE; that is a total of $300 each time u retake. If it has been one year since u sent ur fingerprint to BNE you add additional $35 to the $100 b/c the finger prints are only valid for one year. So it could even be $335 each time u retake. Just plan on not retaking the exam. GOODLUCK.
