When I took the nclex in 1994 on the computer is turned off in 75 questions also. I was pretty sure I had either passed or flunked big time. In my heart I knew I most likey did not do that bad of a job. I was still on pins and needles anyway. I got my results back in less than two weeks. It was great! Take a big deep breath, you most likey passed. Good luck in you nursing adventures.
relax, which is easy for me to say now. i got my license in ten days after taking the nclex. my state's website was under construction, so i could not get my results in 7 days. it turned off at 75 questions for me also and i was nervous eveyrday until i got my license. i felt terrible after i left the testing center, because i thought the questions were hard. but i am sure you did fine. so wait a few more days and then you will know that you are a licensed RN. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
try not to worry. I took my boards 2 years ago on the computor jglass and it shut off at 102. They told me then that it did not matter if it cut off at 75 or 365 or what ever the cut of was that it didn't mean anything one way or the other. What happens is while you are taking the test you raise your self to a certain level and you have to be able to stay at that level through a certain amount of questions with correct answers. you may drop a level some where during the test and you may have to answer a few more questions to get back on top. Sounds like you did fine though. I have not heard of anyone that failed at anywhere close to that number. GOOD LUCK!!!
This message is for julie, sn. can you tell me what nc board of nursing's website address is? i have a classmate that took boards here, in sc, but she will be licensed and working in north carolina. she took the nclex last tuesday and still has not heard anything from the nc board of nursing. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I took the National Council's Online Reivew Course and IT's really good if you want to take a review for the NCLEX. IT's pretty cheap too. good luck!!
