Big difference if it is for the LVN license, or if the nurse is from another country and does not have a SSN#.
For the LVN license: CA will issue a letter stating whether or not the tester passed. That usually takes about three weeks to get. If you passed, then the bill for the license is included and it needs to be paid before the license will be issued. This is very different from most other states. That is why you never seen the name immediately up on the website, the license has not been paid for so not issued.
For the RN license: Average wait in CA is ten days to see your name on their website. Three days is the earliest. And can take up to about a month, even for Americans.
For those that do not have a SSN#: License is not issued, only a letter stating that they have passed, and this is not even sent out until about 2 1/2 weeks from the testing date.
Hi.I took the NCLEX-RN last saturday,july14th..I'm really dizzy as of now and nervous because I reached the 265th question..I don't know when will the BRN release the results.I don't know what to do,what to think.tnx
Just be patient and try not to focus to much on it. I know that is easier said than done and I am sure I will be the same way in a couple of weeks. Just know that you did well even if you did reach the 265th question. My prayers are with you!! Oh and CONGRATS:balloons:

Hi. I took my NCLEX yesterday. Does anyone know how I might be able to get results quicker than a month?? I think I will go crazy if I have to wait that long!! Are there any websites I can check or anything? How long does California usually take with results?
Thanks. :uhoh21:
