Hello, I just want to share my experience about Nclex with you guys. First, I was extremely scared of this exam because I did many researches and I read so many bad reviews about this exam. Since I was very scared I decided to do my best to pass this exam. I bought Uworld, Kaplan, Mark k and I used ATI book. My scores on uworld when I started was extremely low!!! About 38% little by little I gained confidence and I was improving. I ended up with 49% I made sure I read every rationale and I also made notes!!! Guys, once you make notes make sure you read those notes over and over, it's a lot of topics, if you don't remind yourself what you have learned before you will forget!!! On Kaplan, I did every trainer and I did about 800q from the bank. Kaplan was helpful too because I could practice a lot!! I never used that "TREE" I think it was a waste of time, my scores there was 57's to 85 the highest. Mark K was very good too because he gives you the foundation!! You must listen to his records. He is amazing!!!! Ati book has everything you need to pass nclex, every question from uworld you can find the answer on ati book (the pink book)!!!! that book is so good!! I studied Pharm from there too. Guys, I studied about 14 hours daily, I eat nclex, i slept nclex, I didn't go out at all, I was committed to pass this exam on my first try!!! If you want to pass you must dedicate otherwise, you will fail. One more thing I want to tell you, the most important thing is to control your anxiety on the day of the exam. I am Christian so I prayed a lot and I asked God to control my anxiety on that day. I couldn't have asked for more, one the day of my exam I was extremely calm and relaxed. I heard that to pass with 75q u must get a lot of select all that apply and the questions must be hard. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!! I only had about 10select all and all my questions was simple (exactly like uworld) it was easier than Kaplan, easier than uworld. My computer shut down with 75q and I never saw a hard question, I never saw 30 select all that apply as many ppl say. Because I never had any of that I thought I failed!! So, concluding my post, every exam is different, I had a very straight forward one, but don't forget, I studied a lot!!!! Guys, don't let your anxiety kill you on that day, if you don't believe in God, get a mantra, anything that you can put your faith on it. You must control your anxiety! If I did it, you can do it too! Good luck to all of you guys!!! ahhhh I used 35 pages study guide too!! I did pvt 15 min after I finished my exam and a got the good pop out! after 2 day I paid for quickly results and I got the news that I passed!!!!!#trustgod#trustyourself#youcandoit
All the glory be to God!!

Congratulations! I am about to take NCLEX too. I am not willing to purchase a lot for review so based from your experience, what is/are the essential/s purchases for review material? Many thanks :)

Congrats!!! Wow it seems like your hard work paid off! With your story I am more motivated to pass this exam! I failed already but I am still hopeful, even though I have to work full time and can't study as much. If you don't mind me asking how long did you study for?
Just out of curiosity what other study guide did you use? Did you focus on one review at a time or just read from all at the same time?
Thank you for sharing your story. God bless.
Hi Miaella, I was committed to this exam.
English is not my first language and I struggle so much with vocabulary so I was studying from 8am until 12am most of the time for 7 weeks. Every morning I did 75q from Uworld, afternoon i read my notes and at night 75 more questions from kaplan and read rationales. I wanted to pass this exam on my first try so much that I never got tired of studying. Taking questions for me was fun Lol!!! Please make a commitment to yourself and do your BEST!! You can pass this exam its note that hard once you know the material. If you need anything I will be happy to help you. Good luck!! You can do it!!! Try to work less and make Nclex your priority if you.
Wow that's awesome! You are truly an inspiration to me. I have struggled so much with just studying because I work full time. I have 3 kids, two away at college and an 11 year old and too many bills so I can't afford more review courses. :/ But I am not giving up! Just by reading all these stories, I feel more motivated and want this so bad.
English is not my first language too, so I totally understand you. I think the reasons I didn't pass was because I lacked knowledge in content, language barrier, not too good with standardized testing and anxiety!
If you can please e-mail me any info/material that may help me, I would greatly appreciate it. My e-mail is [email protected]
Thanks so much for everything...even just a word of encouragement makes me feel so much better and make me want to study hard so I can pass it next time. I am going to stay positive and do whatever I need to do, to pass. Many blessings to you. Congratulations again!!

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your experience and congratulations. It's kinda motivating for me to see what you did. I failed the nclex at first try. I'm waiting on the letter of info and trying to get back into it without feeling like giving up. I was wondering if you could share stuff with me too. Also where are you getting the Mark K recordings? I searched online even to purchase it and I saw that he only does his review course's on the east coast. I live in california. Also California isn't signed up for the quick results so people check breeze and DCA for their name.
If you can share, my email is [email protected]
