:uhoh21: Hi everyone,
I am in my final semester of nursing school, graduating in August. Presently we are in the process of doing Hesi exiting exams. I feel a bit overwhelmed with all the study material available. I have been doing okay so far with reading the hesi book and saunders as well as practice questions.......Does anyone have any tips about what items were beneficial to them in preparing for NCLEX. Is it better to concentrate on alot of questions?

Kaplan, hands down the best. Use everything they have.

what i did for preparation is answer a lot of questions to practice and develop strategic skill. when you answer, try eliminate the wrong answers first until you narrowed the choices down to the right answer. questions in nclex mostly are prioritization;e.g. in the er, what patient you need to attend first : a. pain in thigh, b. petecheae in abdomen, c. difficulty of breathing, d. infected wound. remeber prioritization; airway first... remember safety of the client.....remember to "tell me more" ....pray a lot!Good luck to You! Youll be in my prayers!

I like the Saunders Q&A CD that comes with the book.
