Hello everyone! This is my first post. I took the NCLEX last Thursday and found out today that I passed!! :w00t:
I HIGHLY recommend taking Kaplan. My school had us take an ATI test to predict how we would do on NCLEX. I had a 97% chance of passing. I took Kaplan anyway as insurance. I did about 3000 questions and hovered around what they recommended. When I sat down to take the NCLEX, the look of the questions and the questions themselves were so similar that I felt like I was taking a Kaplan test at home. I walked out feeling very positive, but terrified that it shut off after 75 questions. I didn't review any other materials, but felt very well preparred by Kaplan.
For all you getting ready to take NCLEX, I would recommend at least buying the Qbank if not the whole course. It's worth it in the long run to only have to do NCLEX once!!!
Good luck to all of you getting ready for NCLEX. And.... Congrats to all that have passed!!!
Nice to hear that,by the way when you'll take the NCLEX test?I have another predictor test with ATI by end of feb.... i already finished my online review with A+nursingtutorial were i completed more than 8th Q/A with rationales. But still i have the feeling of inadequacy of informations,so trying hard to master the concepts of nursing.I'm going to test on march 17.
Thanks for all your information. Did you feel like Kapplan really was like the NCLEX or is it because you knew your materials, since you had 97% chance of passing before you took kapplan review. I just took HESI from my school and my score was a low 64 %. Do you think Kapplan will help me to pass or do I need something else? Please help!
