I saw someone recently post that they marked all the right answers in their nclex prep book and studied by reading those and ignoring the other (incorrect) answers.
Have others done this? Was it a successful or unsuccessful strategy for you?

I don't think that would help since the test questions are not found anywhere else. So memorizing answers won't help. You need to understand what the question is actually asking and choose the best answer.

I feel like it's more beneficial to go through and learn WHY those other answers were incorrect. If you can't understand the rationales behind correct/incorrect answers you aren't really doing yourself any favors. Just my opinion I suppose.

I know which post the OP is referring to...that poster had stated they marked the correct answers for practice questions and only read the review and rationales for the correct answers to understand the material and did not read the reviews/rationales for the incorrect answers. I believe it was stated as a way to learn and understand the information as a time-saving strategy.

I think it's just as important to know why other answers are wrong. That way, if something similar pops up you can recognize it.
