Published

Hi guys, I'm taking my exam on 17th this months, ah i didn't buy any online courses, but I'm using sanders, nclex-3500 lippricconte, kaplan strategy book, i also buy the delegations, assessment book, but its seem like its for RN,? Is it enough to pass, i don't feel any anxiety tho, I'm very positive that i can do it!

Thank you, for reading this:)

I took my nclex pn for the for the first time last may 23,2013 do pvt and got good pop up and I passed it. Im from california. Im almost out of school since 4 years. What i did is self review, i used saunders 5th edition, exam cram and kaplan strategies. I got LOT of SATA like 40% of my exam. Lots of prioritization and delegation, lots of ethical issues, proper charting and whos patient to be seem first, conference questions lots of them, i got 1 exg/ekg strips ( interpret the reading), i got lots of medications questions (side effects, adverse, toxicity) and some questions about drugs i never heard, i have lots of exhibit and drag and drop, and i got 2 calculations (i&o),some diet questions too,

Tips, dont panic during the exam. Take your time, read questions carefully, have a good sleep before your exam date, have faith. And pray always,p. Godbless

Ps.: you can read my posts here how i surpass nclex you can comment there if you want to :)

Oh I will look for it, thank u so much, for ur support;)

When I did my LPN last year I used a random book I picked up at the bookstore. As long as you're practicing nclex questions then you'll do great! For my RN boards this year I used Kaplan which was provided through my school and was surprised how helpful it was. Good luck!!

Thank you, yea, that what i did, i read here about allot of different books, then i buy them all :) that what im doing i true to do 300/400 q a day before, now my goal is 1000 a day or more, so i can expose my self to as many as i can't;)

Eek 1000 questions a day?? We were told my the Kaplan reviewer to not take more than 150 questions a day or you'll get burnt out! Can't have this test take over your life girl! I studied for only a week prior to my actual exam date and finished with the minimum amount of questions for both LPN and RN. :). Don't overdo it or overthink it!

Thank I know, i study for a moths already, everyday for like 5/7 hours, but this week a take off, so i can study more, but i take a brake true the studying, so when i feel like im not losing at i go for a walk around the bloke, to fresh up;) thank you so much!

Did my exam and stopped at 88. Not sure if this was a good or bad sign of passing or failing. I tried the Pearson trick but no good pop up. I feel that the questions was very easy and moderate. Majority of questions were about managing, probably 5-7 of SATA, 5 medication questions, and more patient planning. No medicine calculation. Hearing so much about these PVT that's 100% accurate, it did took my to CC page. 3 weeks later I received a mail from board of nursing they stated that I passed the exam. I'm very happy with the results. My advice is to all of you test takers, never feel discourage. Always pray.
