No test date for me yet, till waiting for my ATT. I am using Lippincott, Saunders and exam cram.... I keep reading about kaplans qbanks being so similar to the Nclex... sure makes me wonder if I'm missing out on something :-)
How are your guy's scores on the sources your using?

That's what is my concern to kaplan is expensive for me right know, sanders 60/70% exam cram i can't get it over 73/75, lippincott I'm in 75/78 i don't know if its good or bed:( whats ur scoring?
I heard that hurst everybody said where helpful, i did take 5 W course at NSBC back in January, because i was hoping thats its not going to take so long, to take the exam, but in CA, its to long, i founded it ok, they have a lot of contest to read tho, & its only cost me 70$

The higher your percentage of test questions correct, the higher the probability of passing the NCLEX.

I only used Saunders to prepare for the Nclex and nothing else. Passed last week with 85 questions. I did over 1000 practice questions though. After I graduated on 5/14, I never opened any of my text books. You can do it!
I'm doing 80%ish on Saunders, and exam cram is about the same as you, and Lippincott I do pretty well on but I think its because I used it all through my program so the questions are familiar.
Kaplan is out of my price range too, but I feel like the farther I get from my last day of class the more I'm losing it. It seems that AZ state board is quite slow as well, my final grade was posted May 8th and I still have yet to receive my att, and of course when I call they either don't answer or are incredibly irritated to answer questions... So here I wait.. :-)

Graduated two yrs ago and passed my pn exam last month! I answered all 205 questions in 5 hours!! I used green book Saunders and cram exam, I only used the CDs and answered over 2,000 questions. I studied for about 45 days and passed! Finally after two yrs I retained most info but read the rationales where u got it wrong or why u guessed the right answer...
Have faith in the lord! God bless :-)

I took my nclex pn for the for the first time last may 23,2013 do pvt and got good pop up and I passed it. Im from california. Im almost out of school since 4 years. What i did is self review, i used saunders 5th edition, exam cram and kaplan strategies. I got LOT of SATA like 40% of my exam. Lots of prioritization and delegation, lots of ethical issues, proper charting and whos patient to be seem first, conference questions lots of them, i got 1 exg/ekg strips ( interpret the reading), i got lots of medications questions (side effects, adverse, toxicity) and some questions about drugs i never heard, i have lots of exhibit and drag and drop, and i got 2 calculations (i&o),some diet questions too,
Tips, dont panic during the exam. Take your time, read questions carefully, have a good sleep before your exam date, have faith. And pray always,p. Godbless
Ps.: you can read my posts here how i surpass nclex you can comment there if you want to :)
