For the interview they let you choose if you want to do your interview in Spanish, English or Spanglish. I say just try your best and don't think about it that much. They don't really tell you what they are looking for. I've heard mixed reviews about programs in the island but that was not a concern for me. I have also heard from a student to wait til March the latest because some students decided to go elsewhere instead of PR so that can open up a couple seats. It's unfortunate because students need to make big moves prior to June.

Thank you! It was 3 person interview. Program director wasn't able to attend my interview not sure if a good thing or bad thing. Everyone was welcoming, down time in between each interview part which helped calmed the nerves. Once you get passed the oral, your left with one instructor to do simulation and clinical research then a tour of the university then all down. It's was difficult to find the building with no direction. I did find a parking garage close to the school. The building is by the (heart) RCM decor outside. Definitely ofcourse arrive early- they don't take you in early though. I felt like my interview was more emotional based. He informed me they make their decision by second week of December however at times it does take until January. You can also opt to take interview in Spanish, Spanglish or English. good luck- keep me posted!

I received an email about a week/half ago from CJB but haven't heard either. They indicated in the email that it may take until January 2026, so don't give hope just yet! I did have my interview at university of Puerto Rico today! And for the nursing license in PR I spoke to a student at UPR he told he didn't need his license until this October, he's been in school since June. But I guess some people have struggled with the application process so definitely print out the papers and take a glance. There's also people that can complete the application for you I was told.
