Hello to all,
I am an LPN student , and will be graduating June 24, 2010. I will be taking my LPN boards around July 15, 2010....
Here is the case though,,, I have the Saunders 3rd edition 2006 that I borrowed from my school's library. This is the older edition, though...
Is there really a big difference between the 4th edition and the 3rd edition?
Also, are there any other really good study guides out there besides Saunders? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
Thanks!

I would think having the most updated NCLEX book would be the best option. To my understanding per the Pearson Vue site the NCLEX-PN exam is reviewd every 3 years and changes are made if found neccessary. Their last update was 2008, so I would think that your 2006 book would be out of date on what NCLEX is currently focusing on. I am using the latest Saunders book, and I plan to get the Kaplan book because I've had a lot of nurses reccomend it to me.

Hope I helped.

Nursing concepts do not change very often. Any good review book should be sufficient, but if you can get the latest edition, it might make you more confident. Good luck.
