Well... Just got home from taking NCLEX-PN... and I'm about 99% sure I failed. Everything I was told, everything I read, everything I've known about NCLEX is not what I experienced... I thought that the bulk of the test was supposed to be multiple-choice style questions... at least half of mine were select all that apply (which, I absolutely am HORRIBLE with). Then, I felt like I didn't know anything on the test.
After everything I went through in school, we had many tests which were "NCLEX style" - we even had an exit exam... which (according to ATI - I have a 98% probability of passing NCLEX)... but - those were all multiple-choice... unlike my NCLEX...
I'm freaking out... I've already cried - my husband told me not to worry but it sucks because until I pass, I can't get a job. *sigh*... guess I won't know until I get my results...

When I took my NCLEX PN 2 years ago, it did the same thing to me...I had a 3.96 (one B in first semester clinicals), I had studied and prepared, but I still felt liked I had flunked the test...it was so much that I had NEVER heard of!! Thank God, I had great instructors that called and told me to "have a great weekend(hint hint)" a few days later, so I didn't have to wait too long to find out.
I just took my NCLEX RN today, and I feel the same way again. Shut off @ 75...PVT was encouraging, but it's still so unnerving!! Especially when you are needing to get to work asap...but all we can do now is hope :)
