a number of years ago i graduated from lpn course. i took the test once barely failed and never have re-taken the test. now, i am in a position to study and want to re-test. what is the best way to approach this? what are the best study guides? any info would be greatly appreciated.

get the saunders comprehensive for the material, and the kaplans for testing stategy. less than $50 from amazon.com

Also, check out the NCLEX area of the student forums on this site...look for a thread called "The first tip of my new study guide" by moderator suzanne4, it is a "stickey" at the top of the forum. She can definately help you! Awesome info with excellant results...I plan to use her guide when it's time for me to study for NCLEX. Good luck to you! :)

you know i thought was the best study guide for the nclex was the one given by the nclex go to there website there one to do online..they have test to take then they analze your answers it was really great i passed the first time around..good luck with your studies..

O.K. I went to the "stickey" hlfpnt recommened, now what? How does this study-guide work. I'm really not stupid, I just do not fully comprehend to what I've been referred...please, show me the light.
