NCLEX PN in one week

Published

I'm taking the NCLEX PN for the first time in one week. I'm almost done with NCLEX PN 3000 and have been scoring in the 50s to 70s. I'm currently doing the LaCharity book and have been scoring in the 50s. I'm getting discouraged because I feel like I'm not retaining any information!

Should I move my test date to a later date or just go ahead and take it? I've been mostly just doing questions and no content reading. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Only reschedule if you honestly feel you are out in left field. Otherwise, go ahead and take it. Good luck.

I felt the same way but it was more nerves than anything. If you really feel you are not ready....then you know.. I mainly used the exam cram and continued taking test over and over again. When I tested last Thursday, I lost my confidence but found out friday that I passed. Do what you feel is best....How did you do on the Hesi? That is one indicator...How long have you been out of school?

caliotter3 & LPN2RNKY: Thank you for taking your time to answer my post. I didn't end up rescheduling. I ended up with 85 questions and I feel like I miserably failed. I received over 900 on the HESI and I've been out of school for about a year.
