NCLEX-PN Exam Prep.

what can you say about this book guys?any feedback?is this enough for a content review?Thank you for those who will reply...:)

I'm curious, have you taken the nclex pn? I failed my first time but have been studying for 5 weeks now. I still miss my practice questions miserably. I have Feuer study material, Vipra, and Saunders review. Feure has the best rationales and organized practice test questions. Vipra is just like the nclex test. Saunders have great points short and to the point. I feel though it maybe a little much but each one have extremely high reviews. Everyone in my class has passed using Saunders. Do you have any take on studying?

Thank you Ill look at it..:)

Hi. I just took my nclex-pn yesterday and so far I am getting the good pop-up. What I used are a couple of books. I bought the nclex-pn flashhcards by REA in amazon. I did the sample questions everyday. Also I borrowed some Kaplan books from our city library. I like the kaplan in regards to their explanation about the test and some strategies on how to choose the correct answer. Good luck to you!

Thank you...:)ill add some of the review materials that you mentioned..;)

When you mentioned how to choose correct answers, was there anything that stood out that you may have found helpful? I have formed a strategy based on the scope of practice, eg;

collection data/report

adm. of meds: subQ, IM, oral...

peripheral IV infusion

blood trans ID

wound care

IV calc.

trach

caths

Did you by chance see a lot based on our scope of practice. My first time through it felt like it was based on pharm. Its a CAT test so I'm sure its different for everyone.

Make sure you know your ABC, Lab Values, Prioritization & Interventions. I only had one Math which is IV calculations.

Proudpinay,

I was curious have you studied the Vipra med website? I have been going over and over it like crazy but feel a little loss. My time is coming short and feel no confidence. Just would like your input and how you feel as to the study material.
