NCLEX PN....computer shut off at 85 questions

So I took the NCLEX today.Im so happy the test is over,I would be even happier if I found out that I passed lol :wink2:

The computer shut off at 85 questions.. the minimum of questions ...thats good right?

***I HOPE I PASS***

all of my instructors said stopping at 85 questions is really good and that we have a 90-95% chance of passing when it shuts off at 85...i guess thats because there was another 120 questions we didn't get asked. all of my friends that stopped at 85 have passed so far. so good luck to everyone and if you live in a state without quick results, i feel your pain! hang in there and stay positive!!!

I took the exam today and mine shut off at 85 as well. Im not quite sure how I did. I really hope that I passed. What percent of people actually have failed when it shuts off at 85? Just curious.

congrats early!!!! i'm in louisiana and i took nclex-pn 07/09/09 and the same thing happened to me, it stopped at 85. i/m hoping to find out this saturday.

my test also stopped at 85 and i failed =(...its 50/50 but good luck...hope you passed!

i took nclex-pn twice already and both of them stopped me at 85...and both of them ..i failed..

Wow are you serious...that must of been brutal for you, I am really sorry to hear that! It just seems so unfair to determine someones capability of be a nurse based upon 85 questions!! Do you remember getting the same questions over again but reworded? So did you get the credit card page both times with the pearson vue trick? Thanks

I took the NCLEX-PN today and it shut off at 85. Last time I failed but it shut of at 110 questions. I came home and did the pearson vue trick. It won't let me register for a new test. Hopefully its a good omen, but as soon as the quick results are ready, I'm going to take a look.

I passed. Just saw the quick results now. And the Pearson vue trick does work
