Hi:monkeydance: We're new here. :blushkiss My bf and i are applying for licensure to california. We've already gathered all the required documents. Just wanted to ask, as we're about to mail the appform, are we going to include the app fee thru a bank draft in the same envelope? Also, how much do we really have to pay? The total amount is what we can't figure out and people we know who have taken the test has already left and we don't really know anyone else we can ask. Should we include a payment for the fingerprint cards we have accomplished (in a local police station and not in the USembassy)? I've read that $150 should be included bec. we'll be taking the test in an intl testing center. We would really appreciate some help because we're trying to apply for the nclex by ourselves. Thanks in advance to would-be replies.

you only send the application fee (bankdraft) to CA..it is written in the application form..
then if you found out that you are eligible to sit for an exam, you should register at pearsonvue website ($200).. ATT will arrive on your email address in a few minutes/hours.. then you can now schedule your appointment for exam by calling one of the NCLEX candidate services at the front cover of the bulletin.. the number can also be found at pearsonvue website... since you're going to take the exam in an international testing site (HK, saipan, etc..), you can only schedule your appointment by calling them.. you'll pay $150 for that (credit card)...
BTW, i advise you to mail your application through courier (LBC, FEDEX, DHL etc).. to ensure the safety of your documents..

hi st this time that your still applying for eligibility you ONLY HAVE TO MAKE A BANDRAFT AMOUNTING $107 thats all, after 4-6 months youll recieve your eligibility letter, thats the time that you can apply for ATT ate pearson, first they will ask for $200 then after you receive the ATT usually thru email then you will call the perason vue center in australiafor the schedule you want which will ask you at the same time the $150(which is the international schduling fee)

any threads that re concerned directly with working in the us should be posted in the international forum, not on the forum for the philippines. this thread has been moved.
if you are planning to go the route of ca for intial licensure, guess you have not read any of the other thread here.
you will not be able to sit for the exam until 2007. makes no sense at all, plus another month to get your results of the nclex exam. you need to do some work and review some of the threads that are on the international forum, it wil make things much easier for you.
