I've been doing Kaplan question trainers. I'm getting 63%-64%.
I just started doing the NCLEX 3500. I've done 20 questions so far and already have an 85%. And I speed right through it. It seems to be too easy...
Is the NCLEX more like the Kaplan questions or the NCLEX 3500 questions??

kaplan questions are more liek the nclex...infact kaplan questions seemed harder than the nclex b/c they are application type questions and it realy prepares you...... the first time i did nclex..i got decent scores in saunders...went to sit down for the nclex and it kicked my butt b/c i wasnt prepared for the application questions..saunders/nclex 3500 or 4000 seemed way tooooo easy...
i joined kaplan course...did all the Qbank-question trainers and i passed the second time with 75 questions...kaplan really prepares you.....kaplans sata questions even seemed harder than nclex sata questions...
but both have a place for review....nclex 3500 is OK b/c it helps with content review and beats reading a big old comprehensive book for content....but to me the draw back is their questions aint application..... also students dont pay attention to predictor scores though..make sure u are getting a feel for the material....do practice tests under exam conditions and tackle your weak areas.......good luck...............
my overall Qbank score was 52% when i took the ncles the second time and I still passed with 75 questions...even though it seemed low..i knew i had a grasp of kaplans decision tree and felt more comfy answering questions...

It does not matter, if you know the material you will be able to answer questions correctly no matter how they are presented.
